GAMBLING
AND SEX
Gambling
and sex (or sex and gambling, always
in the same breath) have been around for centuries. I’m sure many of you
remember the old West movies and even the early days of Las Vegas. Men
went to bars to drink and play poker, then later sought the
companionship of women waiting around to take them upstairs to relax. Nothing
illegal back then.
So it is
today, especially in Vegas where the casinos are
not only working the gambling and sex angle,
they’re flaunting it. Geared to attract the lucrative, upscale
21-to-34-year-old market, all major casinos have elaborate
nightclubs where young men and women can party, drink, dance or just hang out
until three, four or five a.m. No actual sex goes on in those
clubs, but there are plenty of opportunities for serious hookups.
Remember,
Vegas coined the expression, “What happens in Vegas
stays in Vegas.”
The local
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino started a hot new trend lately with
its Sunday morning “Rehab” pool-bash. The fad caught on and now other casinos
like the Palms are vying for the round-the-clock action. Caesars
even has a topless pool.
This
hard-core party crowd is certainly inclined to gamble on the way in or out of
these clubs. They inevitably lose, though, because they’ve had so much to
drink. The girls (and guys) are watching, of course, and have their eyes out
for the high rollers with the biggest stacks of chips.
Using our highly successful, tried and proven methods
for making money on either a part-time or full-time basis, the Leonard
Benson Company can show you how to deliver the real goods when the chips
are on the line and it’s put-up or shut-up time. Our team of highly
professional experts has studied all the systems on the market
and has created its own best-of-the-best strategies. Let us show
you how to go for the real gold and win the big-dog bucks plus the girl (or
guy) so you can forget to remember that it all happend in Vegas.
Even
though I no longer participate in these carousings, I’m just trying to make the
point that what was once old is now new again, with a complete modern-day
“Twist in My Sobriety,” borrowing a line from Tanita Tokaram, the great soul
and blues singer.
